You have restored your computer and cannot activate Virtual Surveyor on another computer.

When you have restored your computer it is possible that Virtual Surveyor is uninstalled during the restoration process. You didn't release the activation code before the restoration and now you cannot activate Virtual Surveyor on another computer. You get the following message:"The maximum number of activations for your license code has been reached" because the license was still applied to the original computer where Virtual Surveyor was uninstalled.

There exist 2 ways to solve this problem:

  1. Reinstall Virtual Surveyor on the restored computer
  2. We reset your activation code

Reinstall Virtual Surveyor on the restored computer

When you reinstall Virtual Surveyor on your first computer, the activation code will appear again in the Activate pane and you can release it. For information on how to do this have a look here.

We reset your activation code

From our side we can reset the devices on which the activation code was applied. Submit a ticket to this helpdesk and we will notify you when the activation code is reset. You can then apply the activation code on your 2nd computer.
