Virtual Surveyor uses your Windows system settings to define the desktop application language. However, you can have Virtual Surveyor run in English, even if your Windows system is running with your local language. You can use a configuration file to override the application language to English.
Use English as the application language
Here is the workflow to follow to force the application to work in English:
- Create a text file which contains only the English language code.
- Save that file as language.txt in the following directory on your drive : C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Virtual Surveyor nv\Virtual Surveyor\Settings
Make sure to change the ... in the drive string above. That section needs to be replaced by your username.
- Restart Virtual Surveyor.
Other supported languages
This trick can be use to force the use of all languages supported by Virtual Surveyor. Here are the current supported languages and related codes that should be used in the configuration file.
