Virtual Surveyor works with an email address and a password for both the desktop and web application. 


If you have forgotten your password or your password has been compromised, you can reset it online from My Virtual Surveyor. 


Overview


Reset Your Password

  1. Sign in to My Virtual Surveyor.
  2. Click Forgot your password? just above the password field.

  3. Enter your email address.


  4. Click on SEND VERIFICATION CODE.
  5. You will receive an email with the verification code.
  6. Check your inbox for the verification code.
  7. Enter the verification code.


  8. Then click VERIFY CODE.
  9. Your email address has now been verified and you will now be able to configure your password.


  10. Click CONTINUE.
  11. Then enter and confirm your New Password.

  12. Click CONTINUE.
  13. Your password is now reset and you can use it to sign in in to both the desktop and web applications.

Tips to Help with Passwords

  • Never share your Virtual Surveyor ID and password; it is personal information. 
    • We have a system that helps you easily change the user of the subscription at any time, so there is no need to share passwords.
  • There are a number of great password tools to help manage all your passwords. 
    • A good app we recommend using is LastPass.
