When a profile is selected, the TOOLS menu becomes available. The TOOLS menu allows you to change the profile styling, annotate the profiles in the Viewport, change the start and end points of the profile, create section lines and profiles, and display or hide the Profile View.

Styling Group

Annotate Group

- | Name | Displays the names and numbers of the Profiles in the Viewport (Names can be edited in the Project View). |
 | Label | Allows you to change the color of the Profiles' labels shown in the Viewport. |
 | Size | Allows you to change the font size of the Profiles shown in the Viewport. |
Edit Group

 | Edit Profile | Enables the Edit mode for the selected profile. Allows you to change the X,Y coordinates of the selected profile start and end points by moving them in the Viewport, or by typing in coordinates directly. |
Create Group

 | Section Lines | Creates a set of Section Lines along the selected Polyline. The created Section Lines are spaced perpendicularly along the selected Polyline line at regular intervals. The created lines are functionally identical to polylines, and you can designate how long the lines are and how much spacing is between them. Result: Polylines |
 | Section Profiles | Creates a set of profile lines along the selected Polyline. The created Profiles are spaced perpendicularly along the selected Polyline at regular intervals. You can designate how long the lines are and how much spacing is between them. Result: Profiles |
Note! The Section Lines tool is designed for the creation of lightweight CAD models and the Section Profiles tool is a cross-section analysis tool.
