In Virtual Surveyor, you can save and export your layer categories and the materials used for stockpiles in a template that can be reused for each new project.

Overview

How to Save Layers and Materials as Templates

There are two ways to save or create templates.

Option 1: Save your layers and materials as a template to your online Virtual Surveyor ID.

Option 2: Export your layers and materials as separate template files.

  1. Export the layer categories as a .vslt file.
  2. Export the materials as a .vsmt file.

Before exporting or saving layers and materials as a template, you'll need to have a project that contains the layer categories and/or the materials you would like to save.
