When a Stockpile is selected, the SELECTION - TOOLS menu becomes available. The TOOLS menu contains tools that allow you to annotate or perform advanced functions on the selected Stockpile(s). The menu dynamically adjusts when a stockpile can be recalculated or if you have an opportunity to extract a surface from a stockpile.

Annotate Group

NameDisplays the Stockpile's Descriptor & Number over the Stockpile in the Viewport.

VolumeDisplays the calculated volume amount over the Stockpile in the Viewport. Volume is displayed in cubic meters or cubic yards, depending on the Project Settings.

2D AreaDisplays the area of the projected ground surface of the Stockpile, in the Viewport. The Area is displayed in square meters or square yards, depending on the Project Settings.
-MaterialDisplays the material type over the Stockpile. The Material that is assigned to the stockpile will appear based on the material type that was entered in the Material Editor.
-TonnageDisplays the stockpile's total calculated weight per ton. The Tonnage measurement is displayed in either metric tons per cubic meters or imperial tons per cubic yards, depending on the Project Settings.  
-ValueDisplays the calculated net value of the stockpile based on the assigned material type. Value is displayed in whatever monetary system you have entered in the Material Editor.
LabelAllows you to change the Stockpile Label color.
SizeAllows you to change the Stockpile Label size.

Extract Boundary Creates a Boundary from the outside edge of your Stockpile.

Extract SurfaceExtracts and creates a Surface from your Stockpile. The extracted Surface is a copy of the surface being used to measure your volume. Extract Surface only appears when you calculate a volume from a surface, this tool will not appear if the stockpile is calculated between Timesteps.

Recalculate VolumeAllows you to recalculate the volume of your Cut/Fill. This tool is only available if there are any changes made to the stockpile that effect its Cut/Fill calculation. E.g. compare the stockpile to another Timestep, or any modified terrain within the boundary of the stockpile.

MaterialContains a dropdown menu of available materials you can assign to a stockpile. Material options consist of created materials from your Material Editor. The search function can be utilized to help quickly find materials.
Material EditorEnables the Material Editor workspace. Used for defining stockpiles.

Compare ToCompares the stockpile to the state it was in from another Timestep on the Timeline.
